I'm wasn't sure what to title this post. Consequences, repercussions, pay back. Not fun.
Nick and I went to Jamaica last week for 5 days and Nick's parents stayed with Abigail. It was a great break, and Abigail seemed to really enjoy time with her grandparents. All was good for 2 days when we got back. Then she started to cry for mommy again when she went down for bed. I would go in there, and she would just cry harder. Daddy could calm her down though.
Well last night Nick was out of town. She finally fell asleep after I sat in there for 20 minutes. Then at 3 am she started crying again. I went in to comfort her, left, she cried. 10 minutes later I went in again. Same thing, but I left the door cracked open. Big mistake. Now she is pulling the door open. I put her back in bed many times and finally gave up. I went to bed, she stood next to my bed. I fell asleep and at some point she went back to her room and fell asleep on the floor. I know she was up for at least an hour and a half.
So we have both been exhausted today. Same thing happened at nap time. I'm not sure what to do. Gate her room, that's the way am leaning.

Gate. We still occasionally use one to keep Noah in his room but she will outgrow the gate. And you won't need it. :)
