We are now in Denver. Today is Nick's first day of work at his new job. Seems to be going good. We thought he was going to be out of town this week, but looks like not now. Yeah!
We didn't get the foreclosure house so we made an offer on our other choice. We are now under contract with that and trying to get the inspection completed. We aren't too sad about not getting the other one. It was really a toss up which one was going to be better. This one is also 2 stories with a basement. But it has a good HOA recreation center and the neighborhood is mostly finished (or at least right around us it is).
Last Thursday we drove over from Vernal. It was an okay drive, but there was ice one spot before we got on the interstate and then when we got to Denver it was pretty rough too. They had received 24" of snow over the previous 18 hours or so. One nice thing about Denver though is all the snow has pretty much melted now.
Friday we had our first doctor appointment. I didn't know which doctor to go to (so many choices here!). But I called Esprit Woman Care and they could get me in quickly with Doctor Leman. Everything looks good. It was amazing to finally see the baby and hear its heart beat. The due date is June 7th. Now I just go back to the doctor every month for a while now. The next appointment is Nov. 30. Just this past week I've not been feeling so great. Guess the hormones are finally catching up with me. Still no hugging the toilet, just yucky feeling mainly in the morning. Thats not too bad though, it could definitely be worse. Sorry the picture looks so poor. I don't have a scanner so I had to try and take a picture of the glossy paper with the digital camera.
