Well I was thinking I was a day late today at least. Talked to Nick and we decided might as well buy another set of 3 pregnancy tests. So we went to Wal-mart before dinner to get that and some feta for our spaghetti squash. Came home finished up dinner making dinner and enjoyed it. Nick suggests taking the test. I kind of didn't want to just because I had taken 3 others all negative over the past 6? months. And because they say they are more accurate if you take them first thing in the morning. But I say why not. If it's negative, I'll just take another one in the morning. I also don't really feel like I have to pee while setting at the table but I stand up and get a couple kisses on the neck and I'm ready to pee. Haha. So I go pee on a stick again. Not thinking much will happen. But just a couple seconds later, there are two blue lines. One is faint, but by the time 2 minutes are up I'm sure there are two lines. I show Nick and he wants to see the directions. So he reads them and says lets do it again in the morning. But he definitely sees two lines. We are excited and hug and kiss. My phone rings, and it's Paula from church. She's talking to me about the cookbook we are working on for the women's group at church, but I can't really concentrate. My skin is crawling with excitement. While on the phone Nick sweetly starts doing the dishes, I think I can get used to this ;). When we have the kitchen all cleaned up its about 6:15 and he is suppose to be at football practice at 6:30. But he suggests we go ahead and call our parents. So we do and my mom is so excited. Nick's mom says to do it again in the morning and give her a call then. Haha. Now if they just don't tell anyone yet...
Wow what a evening. I can't believe we are finally pregnant. Just a couple weeks ago we found out the best man at our wedding and his wife are expecting, and I admit I was slightly jealous. But also not too upset about it because we had a lot of work to do to the house and a lot of changes coming over the next couple months with moving from Vernal to Denver. But now I'm excited again for them and for us. They are a great couple and I hope our kids can grow up being friends with theirs even though they live in Tennessee.
